dexter is incredible, she recorded her first songs via voicenote. don't think even her family knew she was recording music until the video actually came out. it's the most bedroom pop the bedroom pop genre can be.

much like everything else we get up to, having that origin story folded within the visual language was really important. there were times during the shoots we just left the cameras rollings so dexter could return back to her zone: creating art without the need for other eyes.
